Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience — and I completely understand your confusion and concern. Anal fissures can be very uncomfortable and emotionally distressing, but it's good to hear that you're not feeling pain during bowel movements anymore. That’s a positive sign and indicates that the fissure is likely healing. However, the itching and occasional stinging you're feeling are also part of the natural healing process for many people. Here’s what might be happening: Itching is often a sign of tissue regeneration and new skin forming — similar to when a wound on your skin begins to close and itch. Mild stinging can occur due to increased blood flow and sensitivity in the healing tissues. Residual irritation or dryness around the anal area can also cause itching or stinging, especially if there's mild swelling or if hygiene products (like soaps or wipes) are harsh. Continue with your homeopathic treatment, as you seem to be responding well. But make sure to: Drink plenty of water Eat a high-fiber diet Avoid constipation or straining Maintain gentle hygiene (no harsh soaps) In some cases, the healing slows down or becomes incomplete if there’s underlying hypersensitivity, poor circulation, or emotional tension (stress can affect fissure healing too). If the symptoms persist or become bothersome, your remedy might need a slight adjustment to match your current stage of healing. I’d be happy to review your case and guide you personally through this last phase of healing. visit Health Global Homoeopathy Clinic, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. We also offer online consultations. You’re on the right path — don’t worry. With the right support, most fissures heal beautifully without surgery. Wishing you full recovery soon, Warm regards, Dr. Jyoti Kadkol 23+ Years of Experience | Homeopathy for Skin, Digestive & Chronic Conditions Health Global Homoeopathy Clinic, Bangalore 🌐 www.healthglobalclinics.com

It’s a good sign that pain during bowel movements has reduced. The itching and occasional stinging can be part of the healing process as the tissue repairs itself. However, healing can take time and symptoms may vary. Continue your treatment and keep in touch with your doctor for guidance.

It’s a positive sign that pain has reduced over the last 10 days ,this typically indicates that the fissure is in the process of healing. However, persistent itching or stinging might suggest either incomplete healing, mild inflammation, or secondary irritation ,sometimes from dryness. Healing can take 3–6 weeks or more, depending on severity and body response. For personalized advice, feel free to consult directly.
Health Tips
