Weight loss stopped

I had a weight of 89 kg, while according to BMI it should be 73-74. I started following a diet and my weight reduce to 82 kg in two months. I am following same diet but it isn't changing since last month. What could be the reason? What can I do?

Same diet with same calories and nutrient intake doesn’t work for a long period of time as the weight at certain point becomes stagnant. So it’s important to change the diet, caloric content as the body gets used to the same dietary pattern you have been following and needs a change again to reduce the weight again.
