I bought a vitamin b12 tablet (mecoblend) but it was high dose 1500 mcg of methylcobalamin so is it wise to cut and crush the tablet into pieces to reduce the dosage

It’s a capsule and it’s done that way so that it doesn’t disintegrate on your stomach acids. Because below the stomach is where absorption of vitb12 takes place

Cap of vitamin B 12 should take whole . You should check your Vitamin B12 level And If there is deficiency then take it for 1 month continuously and if there's no deficiency then you shouldn't take continuously .

And If there is deficiency of vitamin B12 then  after taking B 12 level for 1 month you should check again the vitamin B12 level
