If its the front tooth, opt for a all ceramic crown and ask for a proper shade match. So you can have new crown redone.

Which type of cap did you go for ---- pfm or zirconia, because the shade in metal ceramic caps can vary slightly because of reflection of light rather than refraction...... definitely the caps can be redone for which you need to consult your dentist...... also the shade matching should be done with the patient's opinion in mind and any alteration from the normal protocol of shade selection has to be conveyed to the patient before the caps are designed... Regards....

Yes offcourse u can get it redone..Ask ur dentist that u are more concerned about esthetics, so go for full ceramic called as Zirconia crowns. At times its difficult to match the adjacent tooth exactly coz of flourosis or stains. But I hope ur dentist ld match it as close as possible..Take care.

Yes it will not match if the cap is made up of Acrylic. But if you have opted for a Ceramic cap (be it fused to metal -PFM or a full Ceramic -Zirconia )it should match . Go back to ur dentist or another dentist if that's not possible and it will be replaced .
