My mother(55) has a wisdom tooth that stabbed her tongue and caused an ulcer. She is having really bad pain and can't swallow food. We are putting zytee gel on the ulcer. We are very scared. What should we do now?

Hi mam. Kindly apply the gel. Get your mother to a dentist and get her wisdom tooth evaluated. Whether it is because of it's sharp edges which needs to be trimmed or removed. Don't be scared. This is very normal

That indeed of a bad wound. Give her oral pain killers. zytee won’t help completely. You can apply zytee before meals. Plz maintain oral hygiene. If this is happening over and over again plz either get the wisdom tooth extracted off have it evaluated for sharp cusps.

Avoid spicy food. Shift to semi solid food for a week as swallowing will be a problem with her and the pain will radiate to her throat area as well
