Symptoms of a UTI?
Since the day before yesterday I've had frequent urinary urgency. Sometimes I feel like I need to pee even when my bladder isn't full. There's been mild burning toward the end of urination, which has improved today. I now have a mild pain in the centre/lower abdomen just above the pubic area. I had intercourse two days ago with my regular partner.
My burning and urinary urgency have reduced, but I've now developed constant right-sided flank/waist pain with waves of cramping, around 5/10. I don't have a fever or vomiting currently. And I don't have any allergies or past treatments

This started as a classic post-coital lower UTI - urgency, burning at the end of urination, suprapubic pain. What worries me is the new constant right flank and waist pain: that is the pattern of the infection climbing up to the kidney (pyelonephritis), and it can happen even before fever appears. This is not a wait-and-watch situation any more. You need urine routine plus culture and a proper course of antibiotics started today, chosen after examining you - not a single-dose over-the-counter tablet.

See a physician today for urine routine/microscopy, urine culture and an ultrasound KUB, and start antibiotics under supervision. Drink 3 litres of water, pass urine after intercourse. Likely UTI/cystitis, but right flank pain with colicky waves → rule out ureteric stone/pyelonephritis.

Advice: Urine R/M + culture, USG KUB, hydration, paracetamol if needed. Urgent review if fever, vomiting, worsening pain or reduced urine.

Please get urine routine/microscopy + urine culture and USG KUB today. For pain take paracetamol 500–650 mg as needed and maintain adequate hydration.

Hello it started as a bladder infection with urgency, burning, and lower abdominal pain, which can be common after intercourse, but the new constant right-sided flank/waist pain with cramping is more concerning and could suggest the infection has moved toward the kidneys or another issue like a stone. Since you don’t have fever or vomiting right now that’s good, but flank pain shouldn’t be ignored. I recommend seeing a healthcare professional today for a urine test and exam to rule out a kidney infection or other cause, and go to urgent care/ER right away if you develop fever, chills, vomiting, worsening pain, or blood in urine. UTI(acute cystitis) is possible based on ur. However, the new right sided flank pain with cramping waves could also indicate a ureteric stone. A urine test and USG W/A Pelvis to rule out Ureteric or renal stone.

Drink more water.
Take tab cefi'xime 200mg one morning and one evening for 5days.
Syp Neeri 5m.l every 8hours for 7 days.
Tab meftal spas one every 8hours for 3 days.
Get urine culture and drug sensitivity, ultrasound abdomen done and share results .

This is a classical case of Post-coital urinary infection. Pain in the right flank may be due to infection in the right kidney. So what to do?
Drink plenty of water to help stay hydrated and encourage urination.
Apply a warm heating pad to your flank or lower belly for temporary comfort.
Avoid sexual activity and bladder irritants like caffeine or alcohol until you are evaluated.
Do a Urine routine microscopy, culture and sensitivity. Then consult me for interpretation of the report.

Burping urination urine urgency and cramp right side flank pain coming in waves strongly suggestive of Kidney stone ( Renal Colic) / potentially a upper Urinary Tract Infection..
Advised....
URINE-Routine ^ Microscope Examination
URINE- Blood Culture--as you not yet started Antibiotics
Plenty of fluids
USG - whole Abdomen
TAb- Nitrofurantoin 100 mg Two times a day for 7 days.
For Cramping pain..
Tab- Meftal-Spas ( Mefenamic Acid 250 mg +
Dicyclomine 10 mg two time / SOS..

Burning and urgency easing while new flank pain develops is a meaningful change, since it can mean the infection has started moving up toward your kidney.

Your symptoms are suggestive of UTI.
As you are complaining of right sided flank pain, i would suggest you to get an ultrasound (whole abdomen) done
Till then you should take plenty of fluids, stay hydrated.
Avoid physical contact for some days.
You should take Cranberry juice or syrup twice a day

If you have urinary tract infection treat it on time . Visit gynecologist . You have flank pain these are symptoms infection spreading from down to upward it will go through v, cervix, uterus, ureter, bladder and last to kidney .
