Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

I experience significant mood swings starting around 10 days before my periods. I feel irritable, emotional, and sometimes very low without any major reason. It impacts my work and relationships. Once my periods start, these symptoms reduce. Is this normal PMS or something more serious? What can I do to control these mood changes?Should I consider any treatment?

Here's a revised paragraph: 😊 Managing premenopausal symptoms can be a game-changer for many women. 💪 Simple lifestyle tweaks can make a big difference. Start by staying hydrated and eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Exercise regularly - yoga, walking, or swimming can help alleviate symptoms like mood swings and bloating. Don't forget to catch those Zs, aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Stress management is key, try meditation, deep breathing, or journaling. Lastly, consider talking to your doc about it if u need more help. Every woman's experience is unique, so find what works best for you!

Your symptoms fit PMS, possibly PMDD since they’re severe and affect daily life but improve once periods start. What helps: Exercise, good sleep, stress control Reduce caffeine/sugar before periods Calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6 If severe: SSRIs or hormonal treatment (doctor-guided) See a doctor if mood changes are intense or disrupt work/relationships.
