For perineal or perianal trauma recovery, a combined approach works best — a gynecologist and plevic floor physiotherapists for rehabilitation. As a pelvic floor rehab specialist, I help patients recover from tears and trauma through gentle pelvic floor muscle retraining, scar mobilization, and pain-free functional restoration. With proper therapy, most women regain control and comfort within a few weeks. You can book an in-person or online consultation for detailed guidance.

Hello For perineal trauma and pelvic floor issues, it’s best to consult both a gynecologist/perineal surgeon and a pelvic floor physiotherapist. We can assess muscle tightness or weakness through: Manual internal examination (to check tone and control) EMG or biofeedback tests (to visualize muscle activity) Based on findings, we design an exercise or relaxation program to restore function and reduce pain. Early evaluation helps in faster recovering
