I have pain in heel(bottom of my feet) towards the ankle side, can u please suggest which kind of doctor I must see, like orthopaedic or general medicine ?

It can be any calcaneal spur or just a tendo-achillis muscle tightness. If it occurs more in the morning or after a long rest,it can be due to plantarfascitis.
Next Steps
Go to a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy +wax therapy +some stretching exercises will be helpful.
Health Tips
At home.. Hot water fomentation +pain killer gel +frequent ankle movements.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Wall calf stretch Stand about two feet away from a wall. Place the ball of your right foot against the wall while your heel remains on the ground. Slowly and gently lean into the wall while keeping your knee straight. Hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Hello there,,,well there are number of reasons for heel pain near ankle ..how is the pain type is it dull ,throbbing or burning type?.... sometimes conditions vary from talgia to calcaneal spur which is a bony outgrowth(for which x ray is required).... many patients of heel pain whom i have treated had problems with faulty footwear...so modification of footwear with soft heel cushions along with setting of local ultrasound with diclofinac based gel usually brings relief in 5 settings,,,along with stretching exercise for feet..however if the pain is severe and conservative modalities fail to bring relief.... steroid injection at the site of pain is considered.

The pain heel may be because of varied reasons the most common in your age group is the foot wear you chose. Which in turn may be causing a well known problem planter fasciitis. Which can be diagnosed by one sign that there will be pain only when you walk or run after resting. And the pain gradually settles down.
