Feeling lonely and scared are undoubtedly a painful to any being. I can feel your situation.
Accept what is happening to you. Yes, as we move ahead in life, we may encounter many uncomfortable phases. Now your loneliness and fear is also a phase. In this phase you have to learn to cope up with the situation. Occupy with something that you like which reduces your stress and loneliness. Learn a new habit which makes your this moment exciting and increase your energy levels up. Wait and watch untill the situations become normal. Then pull your socks up and do whatever you like.
To get proper sleep, make sure you do some breathing and mind calm down activities before you hit the bed. Have light food. Have shower and meditate for sometime. Don't get disappoint, when your heart and mind get what they want they start listen to your orders.
I am sure you will find the best way to keep your spirit up and move forward with flying colours.
