Hello, most neck pain of 3 days comes from muscle strain, poor posture or a bad sleeping position, and it usually settles with the right care. I would not start this combination on your own. It contains an anti-inflammatory (aceclofenac) that can irritate the stomach and affect the kidneys, and a muscle relaxant (thiocolchicoside) that should not be used if you are
pregnant or could be, and is meant only for short courses.
Next Steps
Safer steps for now: a hot compress for 15 minutes a few times a day, gentle neck stretches, a low pillow, and less phone or laptop time with your head bent. Plain paracetamol at the label dose is usually the gentler first option. See a doctor soon if you have numbness, tingling or weakness in the arms, pain spreading down the arm, fever with neck stiffness, severe headache, or the pain follows an injury. I can review your history and prescribe suitably through a teleconsultation on Practo. – Dr Amandeep Aggarwal, Family Physician, Sangrur
