A blood pressure reading of 140/100 mmHg is elevated and should be confirmed with repeat readings on different days. If it remains persistently high, you may require treatment along with lifestyle modifications. Regular alcohol consumption can contribute to elevated blood pressure, so reducing or avoiding beer is advisable. The sensation of hearing your heartbeat or a “wind-like” sound in one ear may represent pulsatile tinnitus, which can sometimes be associated with high blood pressure but may also have other causes. If it persists, an ENT evaluation is recommended.

BP of 140/100 mmHg is elevated and should be confirmed with repeat readings over a few days. Alcohol intake can contribute to high BP, so reduce or avoid it, along with limiting salt, exercising regularly, and maintaining a healthy weight. The ear sensation may be unrelated and requires ENT evaluation if persistent. Consult a physician for BP assessment and to determine if medication is needed.

Check your b.p at least 3 times, on  weekly intervals, if still on higher side, you would need treatment. Till then reduce intake of salt, fats avoid beer,  do regular physical exercise and relax adequately. Get blood sugar, lipid profile done and share results to exclude associated comorbidities.

1. I hope you have checked your blood pressure in correct manner. If two or three readings are still showing your BP persistently above normal range , then we conclude it as hypertension. 2. Even if it is hypertension first line of treatment would be lifestyle changes which includes regular exercise, salt restriction ,alcohol and tobacco cessation, stress management, sleep adjustment, weight loss etc... etc 3. If lifestyle changes doesn't work or if already organ damage has slowly started, then we need to proceed with medication. Medication varies from person to person. There is no thumb rule that every patients should start on same medicine.

The feeling of wind passing in one ear depends on the cause, but the most common culprits are Eustachian tube dysfunction, impacted earwax, or middle-ear fluid. Your diastolic BP is high.
Next Steps
Immediate at-home remedies include chewing gum, swallowing, or performing the Valsalva maneuver (pinching your nose and gently blowing out) to equalize pressure. Please let me know the following: 1. Do you also experiencing dizziness, hearing loss, or ear pain? 2. Have you recently had a cold, sinus congestion, or allergy flare-ups? 3. How long has this feeling of wind been happening?
