Lip burned during RCT/Extraction

I got my impacted wisdom tooth extracted yesterday along with RCT of the adjacent tooth which was partially broken. The procedure went fine but my lip got burned during the process. Is this permanent? Can I do something about it? It's not painful but it's looking bad. Please advice.

Don't worry it is NOT permanent! It is a burn mark that you did not feel as your lip was anaesthetised. Possibly it got burnt during obturation (last step of RCT). It does happen some times. The burn mark will heal itself over a few days time. Just give it the time it needs!

apply any. anti-septic cream/gel available at home.
