The pain in your knees and heel could be due to several factors, including vitamin D deficiency, which is common when there is limited sun exposure. However, there may be other contributing factors like joint inflammation, improper posture during night shifts, or even early signs of arthritis. Your description of the pain worsening at night or with sudden movements might suggest an issue with the tendons or ligaments, but a detailed physical examination and possibly some diagnostic tests would be required to confirm the exact cause. I recommend getting your vitamin D3, B12, and calcium levels checked, as deficiencies can cause bone and muscle discomfort. In the meantime, you can also try some gentle stretches and make sure you’re using comfortable footwear to support your feet during long shifts. For a more accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plan, it would be best to consult me for further evaluation and management. You can also reach out to me via WhatsApp on eight zero zero nine eight two one double three two for a detailed discussion.
