Meat and fish , poultry, fortified foods, nutritional yeast ,soya milk If you are deficient, you may need to take vitamin B12 supplements or injections. Iron rich foods include: Meat and poultry, dark green leafy vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds, dried fruits,eggs, fortified foods, whole grains,tofu, carrots To increase iron absorption, you can eat iron rich vitamin C such as citrus fruits, bell peppers,tomatoes, with foods rich in non - heme iron. You can avoid beverages like tea , coffee and calcium containing milk during meals .
