Hello
I have vitamin b12 deficiency and my levels are vit D 21.32 mg/ml and vitamin B12 - 259 pg/ml
Is this very serious case ??
I am feeling very very lazy and sometimes forgetting what I am doing and also heavy breathing on long walk or run
My work is sitting in chair for prolonged time and less exposure to sunlight
Typical food habits
- idly/ dosa / Pongal as breakfast
- rice and some currry for lunch
- chapati or rice and some curry and curd in the night
Should i change my diet and what foods to include in my diet
Also what supplements can be taken for vitamin B12. There are some supplements available in Amazon like attached pic, should I take that or go for some combination medicines like b12 and folic acid etc...

Vitamin B12 insufficiency and low vitamin D levels can cause weariness, forgetfulness, and shortness of breath. With your present diet, you may not be getting enough B12 or vitamin D. Consider including foods high in B12, such as eggs, dairy, chicken, and fish. Also if you are somebody who eats a vegetarian diet then focus on including milk and milk products in your daily diet for vitamin B12. For vitamin D, include fortified foods such as milk, cereals, and eggs, and aim for 15-30 minutes of exposure to sunlight per day. A B12 and folic acid vitamin may be good, but you should contact your doctor first. Many people choose to take a mix of B12 and folic acid. Also, consume more fruits, veggies, and whole grains to improve your general health.
