Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Being a diabetic you need to cut down on total carbohydrates especially cereals like white rice and its products like poha, maida based products such as biscuits, noodles, bread and sweet fruits especially banana and mango. Exercise 4-5 days/week which includes weight training is mandatory. Add protein in the form of eggs, meat, curd and paneer in 3 meals. Increase intake of vegetables except potato and sweet potato. For personalised diet and exercise guidance please contact us.

Type 2 diabetes, DYSLIPIDEMIA and heart disease etc are  lifestyle disease which you can easily prevent or reverse through diet and lifestyle modifications. You have to learn to avoid refined sugars and go on a high fiber low carbohydrate diet which has good quantity of protein and healthy fats. Make sure your body fat and visceral fat are within the normal limits.  Excess visceral fat can actually increase your insulin resistance and aggravate your metabolic syndrome/ diabetes and heart disease. Contact me directly through practo for a customized diet plan which can help to reverse your condition if followed diligently.
