Your BP isn’t coming under good control with the current medicines. We may need to either add another tablet or adjust the dose, but this decision should be taken after doing a few important tests.
Next Steps
Get LFT, RFT, and Lipid profile checked. Keep a regular log of your BP readings at home. Lifestyle tips- Reduce salt in your food as much as possible. Try to exercise or walk daily. Focus on good sleep and stress management. Once we have your test results and BP records, we’ll know the best way forward for your treatment

Your BP control is inadequate. Please consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination. A few investigations may be required, especially directed towards Lipid profile, Kidney function tests and Heart. I think there is no place for Tele-consultation in your case.

Your BP is not controlled with the present medicines.Your goal is to maintain the BP around 130/80 .You may need an additional medicine from ACE/ARB group, under the supervision of your doctor.

A few more tests like RFT and LFT are necessary to see the severity. Usually physicians start with amlodipine or any sort of calcium channel blocker for that matter. I need to know your family and medical history for further advice. Kindly reach out directly for further queries You can also visit me at my hospital for further discussion in person. Hi, Your current medicines (Metolar XR 25 and Cilacar 10) are standard BP control drugs, but if your readings are still around 150/92, that means BP is not fully controlled. Target BP for most people is usually below 140/90, and if you have diabetes/kidney issues then even lower. What you can do: First confirm with regular home BP monitoring (morning and evening for a week) to be sure it’s consistently high, not just one-time readings. Lifestyle: reduce salt, avoid excess tea/coffee/alcohol, daily 30-40 min walk, good sleep, weight control. If despite this BP stays above 140/90, your doctor may either increase the dose or add another group of medicine (commonly a diuretic or ACE/ARB). So, modification may be needed, but only after your doctor reviews your regular BP chart and checks for other risk factors. Please share readings with your treating doctor for proper adjustment. I hope it help you

Slight fluctuations in blood pressure sometimes is not a matter of concern. It can occur due to stress or increase in the activities. Proper exercise, sleep and diet can help. But if u notice a constant increase in value, please notify your consulting physician, who may change your medication or increase the dose. Try to do meditation and perform activities which give u relaxation

Once a while slight rise of b.p., with no symptoms,  does not warrant increase of dose. Stay stress free, avoid heavy, fatty,  meals, alcohol.

A reading of 150/92 mmHg is still above the target.
Next Steps
Keep a BP log (check at least twice daily for 1–2 weeks) to see the consistent pattern. Continue medicines regularly, avoid excess salt, maintain healthy weight, exercise, and limit stress/caffeine. If your average BP remains >140/90 despite medicines, your doctor may need to adjust dose or add another tablet.
