The fever may sometimes take longer to subside especially some viral fever.As he is already admitted in the hospital ,the treating physician will repeat those investigations if required to find the cause.

The first diagnosis is viral fever. It may last a week before the temperature starts coming down. The treatment is like for any fever. Please share the CBC report if it has been done. Get his Dengue Antigen and Typhoid antibodies test done again. Get the urine culture done. Some causes may be found now even though the tests were negative earlier.
