Gum swelling
My right side molar teeth gap gum has been swelled frm last three days and today morning when I woke up I found it has increased and it became yellowish (very small portion ) and feeling like pus there. Wht may be the reason? Is it serious ? Is there any home remedy for it as currently due to lock down I m not able to visit any dentist .

Yes Maam there are many possibilities that it might be pus from the colour you have mentioned , that means there would be caries near to it .

It may be localised deposition of pus due to decay tooth.
Visit nearest dentist for radiographical examination and further dental treatment.
Avoid hot and cold food and beverage.
Warm saline gargle three times a day.

Tab augmentin 625 mg twice a day after meals for three days
Tab zerodol sp twice a day after meals for three days
Cap pantop d once a day before meals for three days.
Rexidin m forte gel three times a day for 10 days. (massage on effcted area with your fingertip and leave it for 10 minutes)

Good morning madam..
The swelling which u see can be due to either any gums infection or may be due to tooth decay.. Or if their is any food lodgement due to gap which u have mentioned..
Next Steps
u can do salt warm water gargling..
Also start following medicines to avoid further spread of infection:-
t. zifi CV 1-0-1 for 3 days
t. zerodol SP 1-? -1 for 3 days depends on pain u can increase the dose
c. pan D 1-0-1 take in case of nausea only
Apply Rexidine M forte gel 3 to 4 times a day for 5 days
Also start Clohex ADS mouthwash twice daily for 7days

Use dental floss
Luke warm water salt gargle several times.
If doesn't subside apply CNBC dental gel 4-5 times/day.keep for 5 mins and rinse your mouth. Do not swallow the saliva can contaminated gel.

Hello, this swelling could be due to food lodgement or existing cavity .Do you have pain?
* if it's the last tooth(wisdom tooth) then you need to clean that flap either with warm salt water rinses or any mouthwash..
* if it's between two teeth then first use a dental floss to clean that region thoroughly
* If there is gap between two teeth use interdental brush to clean it. - Proxa brushes
- After that rinse with warm salt water thoroughly and then apply antibiotic based gel for the swelling with pus
* Metrogyl DG Gel 3 times a day for 10 days on the infected region by massaging .

Continue with warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day till the swelling subsides .. if it still doesn't come down visit a nearby dentist and get x-ray check up done to confirm the diagnosis.
