Dear Practo user, Some prodromal symptoms such as body ache weakness can be present before fever sets in however we cannot confidently predict presentation of a fever.Prophylactic medicines cannot be prescribed for fever. If you get fever body temperature above 100°F you can take antipyretic medicines which are available without prescription Example Tab Paracetamol 500mg one can be taken when fever is  present maximum of 4 tablets per day with 5 to 6 hours interval .But always remember self medication of even OTC(over the counter drugs )can be harmful It is always in the best interest of health to consult with a doctor for your concerns.
Next Steps
Watch out for new symptoms such as fever ,cough, diarrhoea ,abdominal pain, runny nose ,sore throat, rash on the skin burning micturition etc,Consult with me or any other qualified physician if required
Health Tips
Consult with a physician if symptoms persists or worsen
