A fever lasting 10 days with weakness and body pain needs proper testing now, not more days of home care. Common causes this long include typhoid, dengue, a urinary infection or tuberculosis. Each needs a different test to identify, and treatment differs for each one.
Next Steps
Please see a general physician this week for a full blood count along with typhoid and dengue tests. Rest well, drink plenty of fluids, and eat light meals until the cause is confirmed.
Health Tips
Go in sooner if you develop breathlessness, severe weakness, bleeding, or a fever that won't come down with medicine.
