I got a tetanus vaccine in the last week of October 2022 and then again a TT in the first week of December 2022 and again third dose in the month of March 2023. Am I protected for 5 years? Two days ago, I got a very minor scratch from my cupboard, but it didn't bleed even.Should I again need TT?

The ideal schedule for three doses of Tetvac is First dose ---- gap of 6 weeks ----- Second dose ------ gap of 6 months ---- Third dose.   You are not much off the mark. So you are safe for five years. .

Once three doses of TT have been given, protection is for 5 years.There is no need of booster for minor cuts and scratches.Just clean the wound thoroughly and apply a local antibiotic if you have any.Tetanus booster needed only for large contaminated wounds as an additional precaution.

In general primary vaccination 3 Inj TT in 6weeks to one year , , booster at age 5to 7 , 2nd booster at 12to 17 year , after 5year at 22 you 3rd booster , after that every 10 years one booster dose is ideal , but if you suspect any mild injury , you may take additional Inj TT injection booster dose nothing harm as prophylaxis , provided you are not allergic to injection .Thanks for the good question.
