Constipation is irregular, infrequent or difficulty in passage of faeces. It is the most common disorder of alimentary canal. It is characterized by evacuation of hard, dried stools. People who are suffering from constipation may find it difficult and painful to have bowel movements. Other symptoms of constipation include feeling bloated, uncomfortable and sluggish. Eating the right kind of food is key to controlling constipation. Eating meals at least 2 to 3 hours before the bedtime may lessen constipated. High fibrous diet is very helpful.
