Blood Test Lab Report

2025-09-14 11:00:20
Usually normally range of Vitamin D level is 30-100 ng/ml. But my lab report range is 10-45 ng/ml. I am confused which range should be considered. My Doctor said Vitamin D level is normal. Why are ranges different and which range should be considered in this case?

There's nothing to worry about . You are confusing because of different SI units. Normal vit D levels are 10-45 ng/ml or 30-100nmol/L

There is some mess up. Vit D level reading is given either as ng or nmol. The reading is as if it is n mol but the range is half of the normal range of Vit D3 in ng. Please consult your Pathologist.

Lab ranges for Vitamin D differ depending on the method used, so your report shows 10–45 ng/ml as normal. If your value falls within that lab’s range, it’s considered normal. But whether it’s adequate for your health also depends on your symptoms, lifestyle, and risks. Please share your report for review and book a consultation for personalized advice.
