Amlidopine 5mg stopping
Dear doctors, I was taking amlidopine 5mg for postpartum bp for one week. My bp has settled now, 130s- 80s( earlier it was 140/98 avg), I need to stop this medication and try with lifestyle changes first, shall I stop amlidopine after taking it for one week abruptly.

Please do not stop the medication.start with proper lifestyle modifications first.once they are in place .you must get yourself reassessed to see if you can manage without medicines.

No. You should start reducing the dose of medicine 12 weeks after delivery. Please consult with your Gynaecologist who managed your delivery.
