Always in a bad mood
I'm a 33 year old male and I'm always in a bad mood. I'm easily irritated, even to the point where sometimes I realize the reason for it is dumb. It seems like everytime something doesn't go the way I want it to, I get angry. Also I'm not one that can "get over it" quickly and find myself thinking about more serious situations a lot, instead if cooling off fast. Some days I'll have a whole day with no problems, others I'll be "in a mood" all day, sometimes for no apparent reason.

Hello, irritability can be a counted for in more than one way- as a personality trait, as a manifestation of ongoing stress, depression or anxiety, as a secondary complication of an ongoing relationship difficulty or work pressure, effect of substance use ( alcohol, smoking), secondary to insomnia or poor physical health. Having said that, it's only logical to first  find out the actual cause of the same for a holistic management plan rather than attempting to help your own self without professional guidance.
Next Steps
The next step is to seek a psychiatric evaluation in person for a thorough evaluation and treatment. there are both medications and counseling available for the same which can greatly help in alleviating your distress.
Health Tips
In the meanwhile practicing a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, meditation, recreation, healthy eating and sleeping, avoiding alcohol or nicotine should help. good luck!
