The commonest cause of vomiting at this age is regurgitation due to overfeeding. Maintain a gap of atleast 2-1/2 to 3 hours inbetween breastfeeds,do NOT wake him up for feeds, burp the baby for 10 mins after every feed, lay him on his right side for half an hour after burping, and keep the baby elevated by placing a cushion beneath the head and shoulders, all the time. If the problem persists even after following the above, consult your paediatrician for physical examination.
