Alopecia areata and alopecia barbae
I had alopecia barbae since 2019 and was injected with medicine to promote hair growth, new patches keep on coming and now I have a patch on head as well.
I take high protein diet ( egg, chicken breast, whey)
Does whey protein in excess causes this condition?
Ps- I am based out of EU and using minoxidil and momante over the patches.

Alopecia areata is an auto immune disease. Recurrence and extensions are common.No relation with diet.
