My cousin had a stroke four years ago when she was 29. We consulted the doctor and everything was cured. She fainted a week ago and had issues in breathing for about 2 minutes at that time. We consulted a doctor and an EEG was taken which showed everything normal. The doctor has suggested to do further MRi and blood works to rule out Melas. We did an MRI and everything is normal in it. We are awaiting the results of the blood check up now. Please let me know if there are any chances for Melas if the MRI of the brain is normal.
