Hello, Weight gain post pregnancy is very common but it is not impossible to lose the weight gained during pregnancy and post pregnancy period. A healthy balanced diet and physical activity will help you to lose weight and fat. That said, fat loss takes place overall and not from a specific area on the body. All you need is a proper guidance for doing so and constant hand holding to motivate and help you achieve your desired health goal. A personalized diet session is highly recommended for you as it takes into account your lifestyle, routine, eating habits, medical conditions if any, medications, sleep, stress, etc, along with height & weight. This helps in identifying the gap areas and correcting them accordingly. As a start following guidelines can be helpful - 1. Never skip meals and eat balanced meals 2. Ensure two fruits throughout the day preferably mid meals 3. Incorporate protein rich foods such as Dals, pulses, sprouts, low-fat dairy, non-veg in every meal 4. Exercise daily for 45 minutes it can be as simple as brisk walk and core strengthening exercises 5. Drink 2-3 liters of water daily 6. Avoid fried foods, processed and packaged foods, sweets, sugar, refined flour, etc.
