Hi
In the workplace you are good as an individual contributor, and you feel anxious when you become team leader. It is important to know what is triggering anxiety about being a team leader. It is natural to feel anxious about being a team leader because of the responsibilities involved. You might be managing a team and it can sometimes be stressful. New job can be an exciting time—however, for some people, a new position is more challenging than exciting. There are several reasons why a person may be afraid to get a job, including phobias and previous negative experiences. Being able to identify your fears is an important first step in overcoming them.
Take some time to determine exactly what frightens you when it comes to starting a new position or challenging roles. Whether it is the interview process or meeting new people, the more you understand what you're afraid of, the better you'll be able to address it.

Hi... This is a typical role conflict you are going through which becomes more prominent being a medical professional. A clinician's/doctor's morality will always be in conflict with the manager's/supervisor's/team leader's role. Here you need to make a clear career choice. Whether you want to grow as a medical administrator/manager or as a clinician/doctor. You cannot be both and still be happy. If you wish to pursue your career as a doctor, you will need to gradually move your career towards private practice. You can start with not committing full time with a particular hospital/institution and rather being associated with 3-4 and sit there on different days/time slots. But you have to be really good in what you do. As your name grows you will be able to switch completely on your own practice and maybe open a medical set up (nursing home/ hospital/ clinics) of your own. Some doctors choose another path which is keeping themselves associated with one big brand (hospital) and gradually growing up the ladder and making a name for themselves in the medical fraternity. But this a difficult path simply because everyone is doing it. The competition will be cut throat. Also you need to understand what are your core aspirations in life and which career path is more likely to fulfil your life goals.
