Male 36 years - tsh report was high so doc had increased the thyroid medicine dose from 450 to 700 weekly...but that resulted in tremendous weight loss of 6-7 kgs in 8 weeks.
Again after doing the test after 8 weeks TSH was lower than the range. So doctor reduced the dose to 525 weekly.
How long will it take for the weight to gain back which was lost due more dose . Pls advise.

Thyroid hormone is a daily dose. It is not supposed to be taken weekly. It is unlikely that you will lose weight at the rate of 1 kg per week
Please get your Thyroid profile and consult a General Physician in your area for adjustment of your Thyroid hormone dose.
