Hi,
I would be traveling from Mumbai to Leh directly. Is it required to take any medicine like Diamox to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness?
If yes, When should it be taken?

You have to go SLOW.

It is not that much height to give mountain sickness.
If you want, you can take diamox.one day before your journey and 2 hrs before your journey

Acclimatization may take 2-3 days. To continue meds till then.
