You have to start taking Diamox 24 hours before you reach  mountains. It is 125 mg tablet taken twice daily. You continue with it for at least 48 hours in the same dose.  At times you have to take it for 72 hours . Then you can stop it. Since you are there for 6 days , you need at least 8 tablets. Better arrange for 10 tablets. We presume that you will acclimatize yourself during the first 3 days of your stay.
