Few days back my father was having intense pain and sensations from hip to the left left radiating throughout the left leg. Earlier he was not able to walk. Now after taking medicine and physiotherapy he is walking on his own without much difficulty. He is undergoing periodic physiotherapy.Sensation has also Improved but still it has not improved fully.
Does he need to continue with the current treatment? How much time does it take to recover fully?

Medicines and Physiotherapy should be continued for 4-6 weeks in radiculopathies. Please avoid lifting heavy weight, and bending forward. Prefer a high calcium diet.
