Hello doctors, I am suffering from Acontractile Bladder(Idiopathic) from last 9 months.Video Urodynamics showed my bladder is not opening during voiding. I also have lower back pain and leg pain from 1 year.
My symptoms are Difficulty in starting Urination, Straining, Hesitancy, Poor flow, Start and Stop Urination, Frequency(15-40 times per day), Delayed Urination by 30 min(sometimes). I have to apply a lot of pressure to urinate. Currently performing self catheterization daily. My symptoms are worsening day by day. Cannot depend on CISC 6 times/day for the rest of my life.
Average flow - 1.5ml/sec
Max flow - 5ml/sec
This condition turned my life upside down.
Is there any cure for my condition in Homeopathy and Ayurveda? If yes then it would be really helpful. Thank you.

Ayurveda offers unique approach by Yoga Basti therapy along with diet n local therapies of medicated oil/ghee
hello practo user,
The condition of yours that you've mentioned still needs more elaboration but as of your description i would like you to know that YES ayurvedic therapies and right medications can help you improve the condition, i would not claim that it can go all at once....that no smart doctor will tell you.
In Ayurveda, an acontractile bladder (ACB) can be linked to Mutraghata (urinary retention) due to an imbalance in Vata dosha, which governs nerve and muscle function. Ayurvedic management such as panchkarma techniques (Pindasweda etc.) focuses on restoring bladder function, improving nerve-muscle coordination, and preventing complications like infections.
Next Steps
Consult for further detailed treatment plan of yours.
Acontractile bladder with urinary difficulty and back pain suggests a Vata imbalance affecting the bladder's neuromuscular function. Ayurveda offers therapies like Basti (medicated enema), Rasayana (nerve rejuvenation), and urinary tonics like Gokshura, Varuna, and Punarnava to improve bladder control. A personalized approach with Panchakarma and internal medicines can help restore function. Consult me for a detailed treatment plan.
Better to undergo Uttarabasti a part of Panchakarma treatment. Along with that take Ekangaveera rasa tablet and Ksheerabala capsules twice daily with Ashwagandharista 20ml twice daily with water
