Acidity, Food Regurgitation, and Post-Nasal Drip 🔹 Mild Causes: ✅ Dietary Triggers: Spicy, fatty, or acidic foods can worsen acidity and regurgitation. ✅ Lifestyle Factors: Eating large meals, lying down after eating, or consuming carbonated beverages can contribute to symptoms. 🔹 Serious Causes (if persistent): ⚠️ Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Chronic acid reflux can lead to regurgitation and throat irritation. ⚠️ Post-Nasal Drip: Excess mucus from allergies or sinus issues can irritate the throat and worsen regurgitation. What You Should Do? ✅ Monitor Symptoms: Track triggers and patterns of acidity and regurgitation. ✅ Dietary Adjustments: Avoid spicy, fatty, and acidic foods. Eat smaller, frequent meals and stay upright for at least 2 hours after eating. ✅ Stay Hydrated: Drink warm fluids to soothe throat irritation caused by post-nasal drip. ✅ Treatment: Continue Normaxin RT as prescribed. You may also benefit from antacids or proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) for acidity, and nasal irrigation or antihistamines for post-nasal drip.
