Aching jaw
I've had an ache in my jaw on the left side for 3 days now and it's getting worse. The pain is going up towards my ear and my ear keeps getting blocked. It also hurts when I open my mouth too wide and it's getting hard to eat because of the pain. It doesn't feel like it's my teeth, it feels like my actual jaw. I don't know if I should see a doctor or a dentist?

As you wrote the pain is in your JAW . Considering the jaw pain . It can be due to various reasons . 1. Eating hard food which is not easily chewable. 2. Trying to open mouth too wide is usually results in jaw pain which radiates to the ear. 3. Excessive tension or worries also leads to jaw pain. 4. Ear infection can also be a reason for jaw pain. Eat semi liquid food for a while. Do not try to open your mouth too wide. Keep calm and do some meditation to release your stress. Avoid putting anything in your ear eg. Earbuds etc. and for better diagnosis and satisfaction on your query better consult an oral & maxillofacial surgeon and ENT specialist.
