Accidental monkey scratch
Hi last Wednesday I had an accidental monkey scratch on my left shoulder went to doctor the same evening doctor saw the scratch guess there was no blood coming out just a minor scratch doctor said nothing to worry and prescribed to go ahead with a new three dose Thrabis intramuscular rabies vaccine and gave a TT inejction same day and I've taken two doses for day 0 and day 3 still final dosage is pending on day 7...one of my family doctor said to take 4th dose on day 28 do I need to go ahead and take extra dose of vaccine or is it fine with three doses as per the schedule.. can we go and change the vaccination brand now since Thrabis is only a three dose vaccine..pls confirm

Yes take all the doses , remember monet bite or any other animal bite can accidentally cause rabies. Once rabies develop no cure and 100% mortality. So better to be on safe side. Go for the full course
