Dear Patient,  Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. Based on the details you’ve shared:  1. You completed a **full intradermal rabies vaccination course** 3 months and 10 days ago after potential exposure to dog saliva.  2. **Immunoglobulin (RIG) was not administered** at the time.  Here’s what you need to know:  - you are very likely protected.** The rabies vaccine is highly effective when administered correctly, even without immunoglobulin, especially if the exposure was low-risk (e.g., intact skin or minor contact without obvious wounds). Immunoglobulin is typically reserved for high-risk exposures (e.g., deep bites or mucous membrane contact).  - Intradermal vaccination** is a WHO-approved method and provides robust immunity when the full course is completed.  - Stress and overthinking** can amplify fears, but your timely vaccination significantly reduces any risk.  Next Steps:**  1. Avoid unnecessary anxiety.** Trust the medical care you received.  2. **Monitor for unusual symptoms** (e.g., fever, neurological issues), though these are extremely unlikely at this stage.  For Absolute Peace of Mind:**  Schedule a consultation with me to review your case in detail. I can assess your medical history, clarify protocols, and provide personalized guidance.  Contact Me Directly:**  WhatsApp: **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**

Hi ma'am, You don't have to worry. If you have completed the vaccination series and it was only dog saliva without any cuts it's all right. You have not mentioned any bleeding so it's unlikely you had any cuts. If you had cuts on the skin, you would have noticed the healing also and it would have been painful right? I am pretty convinced that there were no cuts or skin breaks. Do not worry. Don't read about it over google. Search apps are meant to be key word based and not about providing the relevant information. Connect if needed

Your dog bite comes under category 1. Which doesn’t need any vaccination or immunoglobulin. Though you already got vaccinated, that puts you even more on the safe side. Immunoglobulin is only for the dog bite, which is a single or multiple transdermal bite or scratch, licks on broken skin, or contamination of mucous membranes with saliva from licks. In your scenario you don't need any immunoglobulin. So don't be stressed out.

It all depends on the category of contact. I am sure that if had vaccinated from a GH, it means they had examined you and identified the category of bite and had decided the treatment course. Retrospectively from your info , even if i assume you had minor cuts, you would fall only in category 2. ( Saliva on abrasions or cuts without blood ) For which only vaccine is sufficient and no immunoglobulin is needed. So don't worry.
