Pcos can be treated with or without panchkarma depends on the severity of case. Only medicines may cure pcos, bt if want fast result panchkarma can be added, like if patient is overweight,  have digestion related issues and other associated problems..panchkarma would be very helpful. Consult an ayurveda dr for detailed information.
Next Steps
do exercise ....yogaasans, pranayam etc. follow a healthy diet plan to get good results.

Strongly recommend u for ayurveda basti chikitsa ( one of the part of panchkarma) to cure this issue, which u can also perform at home without any assistance. For further information u can also visit www.bhuvanaarogyamhospital.com Take care

In first line treatment of pcos usually I give internal medicines. Panchakarma may be needed according to the symptoms. Panchakarma has it's own merits as it can enhance the normalcy more fast than without it. Internal medicine is still unavoidable. If your doctor has suggested we cannot underestimate his inference. To confirm you may consult with me online. You should ready with all report copies. I need to know all symptoms, your present diet and exercise, work etc.
