About NIPT test
Hello, myself 36 year old women with 13 weeks pregnancy.Mine is ivf pregnancy with single fetus n absolutely fine. My all blood test are done n it's normal . My NT scan also completed n double marker test is also normal . Going fine. But my gynaec suggested to do NIPT test n told me it's not mandatory but optional n told me it's ur decision. But I don't know what to do. This NIPT test is necessary for me r just can I skip that ? Please suggest some points n guide me. Thanku

nipt is 99% is predicting the disease...double marker has 70-80% ...

Not necessary as u hv already done a screening test double marker test

As your double marker and NT is normal  , need not take NIPT
