Your mother’s sugar levels — fasting 236 mg/dL and postprandial 358 mg/dL — indicate poor glycemic control. The current doses of Amaryl 2 mg and Galvus Met 50/500 mg once daily are not sufficient for these readings. Usually, such levels require either dose escalation, twice-daily metformin combination, or addition of a third agent (like SGLT2 inhibitor or basal insulin) depending on kidney function and overall health. Uncontrolled sugars can silently damage kidneys, eyes, and nerves — so prompt correction is essential. I’ll need to review her diet, weight, BP, and recent reports before adjusting medicines safely. You can contact me directly on WhatsApp at nine three two six zero two zero five nine six for a detailed diabetes management plan and faster sugar control.
