Last time when my daughter had an urine routine examination, the rbc count in urine was noted as 6-8rbc/hpf which is slightly above the normal value 0-2/hpf. Then we had cultured her urine and the result was normal.
I would like to know the proper reason for the above mentioned scenario. Please resolve it

The urine findings of RBCs should match symptoms and signs in the child. If there are no symptoms, usually no need to worry. RBCs in urine is common and often harmless in children.
Next Steps
please consult a nephrologist( kidney specialist) for proper guidance
Most common cause would be an UTI.
But sometimes can be transient phenomenon in children.
USG should also be done to rule out other causes.
Kindly consult online/ pediatrician nearby for detailed discussion
Usually a brief history is needed about the child whether child had fever / infections/ trauma / grossly visible blood in urine.
So mostly in children it will be transient and no need to worry .
Plenty of fluids should be given.
If any reason is found it should treated appropriately.
