Persistent fever in a child, especially if lasting more than 3 days, always warrants a closer look by a pediatrician. While paracetamol (PCM 250) can help manage fever, it does not treat any underlying bacterial infection that might require antibiotics. It's crucial to monitor the child's overall symptoms and behavior.
If the fever is mild and the child is otherwise active, eating, and drinking well, you might continue to monitor at home with supportive care. However, if the fever persists or the child shows signs of distress, lethargy, or any other symptoms such as a rash, difficulty breathing, or persistent crying, it's important to seek medical advice.

This pattern is typical of viral fever. He is improving because time between fever spikes has increased. There is no need for an antibiotic. He should be fine in a couple of days. But please visit a pediatrician for check up as more details and physical check up are very important for diagnosis
