Hello,
Children under the age of 5 can fall sick 4-5 times a year. High grade fever is concerning. Can indicate many things from viral to some other infection. Detailed history and checkup will help us more. We cannot rely on only CRP levels
Next Steps
Contact dr , get the child evaluated , continue paracetamol, maintain a good hydration . Also evaluate for low hb
Are you feeding with a nipple bottle? If so, please stop it. Bottle feeding can answer recurrent respiratory infections and anemia. Please keep in mind younger kids are prone to get viral infections often so if there aren't any danger signs, please give him supportive treatment. Paracetamol, adequate hydration and rest.
