5 months old baby solid food query
My pediatrician has told me to start giving solids I started with fruit puree - apple , banana , chickoo and vegetable I gave carrot puree . Today I gave her oats . But doctor has told me to give Nestum rice . I don't know whether to give it as in ingredients it contains added sugar. Please help what else can be given. My daughter is  5 months 7 days old

Start after 6 completed month, till then only breastfeeding. You can give homemade food, which are semisolid in consistency not too liquid not too solid. Like khichdi, fruits and vegetable puree, suji kheer or halwa, boiled mashed potato etc

At first, give these homemade food products in semisolid paste like form. Later, other food products can be added in different meals.
