Formula babies are usually overweight. There is no other option at this age apart from breast milk and formula. Start weaning at 5 months if on formula only. Usually excess weight should have no long term effects

Formula fed babies have slightly more weight than breastfed babies. Please tell birth weight. If you have less breast milk, it is ok to formula feed. Try to start weaning by 5 months. That means start introducing other semisolid foods by 5 months and then slowly reduce the frequency and amount of formula milk
