2.5 years child, itching, child healthy
My daughter developed this rash in January 2026. It has now been present for about 6 months. She gets new itchy bumps even now, and the itching is severe, causing constant scratching. The scratching has not improved despite treatment. We consulted a dermatologist in February and again on 21 June, and both times the diagnosis was Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. However, because the rash is continuing and new lesions are still appearing, we're concerned whether this could be something else, such as papular urticaria. We also have a pet dog at home."
